On 23.02.2024 Mr. Sven Hampel defended his doctoral thesis on the topic: "Study on 3D- and picoliter printed multi-elemental references and element species properties with respect to energy storage and recycling".

The event was broadcast internationally. Afterwards, there was a hearty celebration with four different home brews from the inistitute of Electrochemistry. The newly-qualified doctor of natural sciences can now work in large-scale research facilities in beautiful Hamburg :-).
