Profile

Starting in July 2017, Ursula E. A. Fittschen is full professor for Material Analysis and Fuctional Solid Matter at Clausthal University of Technology. Before then she has been assistant professor at Washington State University (WSU, 2014-2017). She has been studying chemistry at "Universität Hamburg" (Diplom-Chemikerin 1996), Ph. D. (Promotion, 2001) and habilitation (2013) followed also at "Universität Hamburg".

She is member of the American Chemical Society, of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) and of the DAAS (Deutscher Arbeitskreis für Analytische Spektroskopie). Reviews Editor at Spectrochimica Acta Part B (Elsevier) and Editorial Board Member at X-Ray Spectrometry (Wiley). German menber in the management committee of COST-action "Enforce TXRF".
