Dr. Christian Gutsche

My main research interest is the use of advanced X-Ray spectroscopic methods for different applications. I am experienced in the wet-chemical and electrochemical preparation and characterization of advanced nanomaterials (e.g. composite materials or shape and phase control of materials) and their use in the field of energy storage. I have a strong background in battery research and electrochemistry and I invented a novel Fe-FeOOH battery. As a physicist I have a strong interest in advanced characterization techniques, mainly for but not restricted to solid state samples.
