On 14.11.2025 Sophie Wunderlich defended her excellent docotral thesis with the title: “Characterization of basic oxygen furnace slags and slag leachates with respect to the recovery of critical materials” successfully.
Afterwards the degree was celebrated in relaxed atmosphere with friends and colleagues. The newly declared doctor if natural sciences continues to work at Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschungs GmbH. She made her thesis while working in the industry.
