DFG Priority Program inspection for slag recycling

On 6th of June 2024 the project which is focussed on the understanding of the chemistry in the melt of Li-ion batteryrecycling slags was presented the reviewers. The groups of Prof. Dr. Nina Merkert, Prof. Dr. Ursula Fittschen and Dr. Iyad Alabda Alhafez as well as Sven Hampel (not in picture) already were supported in a first funding period and have good chances to get support in another period.

Disputation of Mr. Sven Hampel

On 23.02.2024 Mr. Sven Hampel defended his doctoral thesis on the topic: "Study on 3D- and picoliter printed multi-elemental references and element species properties with respect to energy storage and recycling".

Participation in the 7th PhD Student seminar of the german working group of analytical spectroscopy(DAAS)

The working group of Prof. Dr. Fittschen was represented by Frederik Droste-Rehling and Frithjof Mähler with talks at the 7th PhD Student seminarof the german working group of analytical spectroscopy(DAAS).
