6th International Clausthal Chemistry Workshop

This year, already for the sixth time, the International Clausthal Chemistry Workshop (ICCW) took place from 16.02.20 to 21.02.20. Students from France, Russia, Slovakia, Italy, the Netherlands and Germany started the chemistry workshop with experiments with supermarket products in the practical room of the Institute of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry. This year there were additionally two new stations with a model experiment on energy storage (coffee-oxygen battery) and on quantitative determination of copper in drinking water by photometry. Prof. Fittschen and her working group welcomed the participants at their first station at the TU Clausthal. In addition to other institutes, companies and testimonies of the Upper Harz mining industry were visited. Reports about the workshop were already published in advance in the "Goslarsche Zeitung" and on the website of the TU Clausthal.
