On February 18 and 19, 2020, the Fittschen working group with students from the master's program in chemistry and doctoral students visited the Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr Area in Gelsenkirchen. The managing director and professor at the TU Clausthal, Professor Dr. Dunemann provided an insight into the everyday life of a research institution. The participants were particularly interested in the field of limnology. In addition to a lecture on mass spectrometry in analytical practice, practical work was also carried out in the laboratory in the field of liquid chromatography.
