On March 5 and 6, 2019, the Fittschen working group was with students from the master's program in chemistry and doctoral students at the Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr in Gelsenkirchen. The managing director and also lecturer at the TU Clausthal, Professor Dr. Dunemann provided an insight into the everyday life of a research institution. In addition, a lecture on mass spectrometry was given and a practical exercise was completed by the participants.
