Frederik Droste-Rehling

Study of chemistry (diploma) with specialization in inorganic chemistry at the TU Clausthal. The diploma thesis on the synthesis and characterization of ternary halides was carried out at the Institute of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry.

Since May 2019 working at the Clausthal Environmental Technology Research Center CUTEC in the Department of Environmental and Process Analytics with Dr. Axel Fischer and since then PhD student in the Fittschen group.

Research focus is on the analysis of slags from lithium-ion battery recycling and direct solids analysis using electrothermal vaporization (ETV) for analyte introduction into inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).
