Visit by students from Archenhold High School in Berlin

From July 15, 2025, to July 17, 2025, a group of students from the advanced chemistry class at Berlin’s Archenhold Gymnasium visited the Institute of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry.

As part of a long-standing collaboration with Archenhold-Gymnasium Berlin, students conducted selected quantitative analyses (including electrogravimetry of a copper solution) under university-level conditions during a three-day laboratory practicum. Afterward, the students were asked for their feedback, and the theoretical foundations of the chemical reactions were explored in greater depth.

In addition, the students received information about studying at Clausthal University of Technology and the campus itself, including its opportunities for sports and other recreational activities.

The students found it very rewarding to be able to work hands-on in the lab. This visit further strengthened their desire to pursue a degree there.
