Student seminar "Mathe ist mehr"

As part of the student seminar “Mathe ist mehr…,” the IAAC presented its chemistry program during the lunch break. At the well-attended event, which drew approximately 250 students, the IAAC’s booth was visited by numerous students and several accompanying teachers.

There the students were able to classify various everyday products using the pH scale and then verify their classifications with universal indicator paper.

In another experiment, the students observed corrosion — with an unexpected result for the participants. Many left the booth with new insights.
