Chemical Laboratory Technician

Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician specializing in the “petroleum industry” at Clausthal University of Technology (formerly the Institute for Deep Drilling and Petroleum Production).

Worked at the former Institute for Petroleum Research in Clausthal.
Responsibilities included high-resolution mass spectroscopy, collaboration on projects such as supercritical CO₂ extraction, and research using bacteria to increase the degree of oil recovery in reservoirs.

Since 1998, a member of the Inorganic Chemistry research group, with responsibilities including: IR/Raman spectroscopy, elemental analysis, ion chromatography, UV/UV-VIS spectroscopy, and TG/DSC.
