Jessica Hiller

Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry at the TU Clausthal with specialization in Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry. The master thesis titled "Comparison of different sample preparations in the determination of Pb and Cd in a certified soil and plant material by total reflection X-ray fluorescence analysis" was carried out at the Institute of Inorganic and Analtic Chemistry in the Fittschen group. Joined the research group as a PhD student in April 2020. The research topic includes the characterization of slags with respect to the contents and species of redox-active elements by total reflection X-ray fluorescence analysis and X-ray absorption spectroscopy.
